The theme is pretty cool in my opinion as its set in the wilds of Central America. The game is unique and this is evident in the Free Spins feature – you can play this when you obtain 3 or more Shields anywhere across the reels. 3 Shields will reward you with 3 times your stake, 4 Shields will reward you with 10 times your stake and 5 Shields will reward you with 10 times your stake. When it comes to the number of free spins you receive, this is dependent on the bonus wheel which can give you between 3 and 50 free spins.
Now, I love Montezuma as the bonus wheel gives you a different multiplier on every single free spin – you can get a 2x, 3x, 5x or 10x multiplier applied to your free spins. The Shield symbol also bears importance during the feature as you can claim a further 25 free spins totaling 50 free spins if you’re in luck. If you are lucky enough to get extra free spins, the multiplier applied will be the multiplier you had on your last free spin.

I really like the Montezuma slot game and I see it as a medium volatility slot). The bigger wins tend to be in the free spins feature naturally with the potential for big wins coming with the 10x multiplier coming into play.
