Playtech goes back to basics with Royal Respin Deluxe, a classic 3-reel fruit machine where you can play with 1, 5 or 9 paylines active. As its name suggests, respins are central to the action here. There’s not too much a developer can do with the design of a classic fruity but the visuals are nice and crisp and there’s a bouncing soundtrack playing in the background. It’s all rather glossy. On the reels you’ll see single, double and treble bars as well as red and green lucky 7s.
They’re joined by 2x, 3x, 4x and 5x multipliers – when these form part of a winning line, that’s how much the payout is boosted. Playtech has kept things nice and simple here and by and large it works well. Royal Respin Deluxe won’t be one for you if you like your games to come with plenty of backstory. For basic fruity action that can deliver a decent payout punch, then it does the job rather well. I would much rather play more modern video slots like Raiders of the Hidden Realm and Terminator Genisys (both by Playtech).
