Ancient Goddess is another take on the classic Egyptian-themed video slot from Novomatic. This one is a 5 reel, 20 payline game that comes with expanding wilds. The set up here is fairly typical of a Novomatic game. The deep purple reels have a regal look about them. There you’ll find A to J royals as well as 6 higher value Egyptian god and hieroglyph symbols. Ancient Goddess is a typical Novomatic video slot. The design is simple but rather nicely done and just what we’ve come to expect from modern releases from this developer. The gameplay is nice and straightforward too. The feature can pack a decent punch thanks to the expanding wilds and symbol upgrades.
The variance isn’t quite as high as some Novomatic games but it’s fiery enough to keep things interesting – you can win 500 times your bet on every spin/free spin. There’s nothing especially fresh about Ancient Goddess. The simple design and features work well though which makes this volatile adventure worth a spin if you like the Egyptian theme – I would rather play Book of Ra Deluxe which offers bigger potential payouts (also by Novomatic).
