Yggdrasil Gaming Incinerator Video Slot Review

Incinerator: Demo

Play space age binman and try and turn intergalactic junk into treasure in Incinerator, a 5 reel, 20 payline video slot powered by Yggdrasil Gaming. Featuring the Scandinavian developer’s usual high end design, it comes with a cascading reels game engine which can turn multiple symbols wild. Play from between 20p and £200 per spin.

Even though the theme here is galactic garbage, Yggdrasil Gaming has still managed to produce a lovely looking game. The setting is a spacecraft with 6 different types of debris dropping onto the reels. The most lucrative symbol is the wheel – landing 3, 4 or 5 of these in combination will get you a payout of 7, 75 or 200 coins. The junk is joined by a standard wild which replaces all other symbols.

Incinerator is played using a cascading reels game engine – whenever a winning combination is created, the successful symbols are blasted off the reels and replaced by the symbols above. The cascades keep on coming as long as a new winning combination is created.

3 cascades in a row and you’ll trigger the Wild Pattern feature which is where Incinerator really starts to get interesting. You’ll notice a mini screen to the left of the reels which features a pattern that changes on each spin. After the third cascade, the Wild Pattern from the mini screen will appear on the main reel set and turn those symbols wild.

Once again, if a winner is created, there’ll be a new cascade followed by the new wild pattern from the mini screen. There are 16 potential wild patterns. After the first cascade win, the pattern will feature between 4 and 6 wilds. Each subsequent wild pattern will contain at least 6 wilds, sometimes reaching 9 if you get really lucky!

Despite there being no free spins or any other features, there’s still plenty of action on offer in Incinerator and the pace remains high throughout. The variance is in the low to medium range though. You won’t be waiting ages to create winner but if you can get lucky with the wild patterns, this simple, space themed video slot can turn trash into treasure. If space is your thing, Playtech’s Space Invaders is worth playing.
