Beat the Beast: Cerberus’ Inferno Bonus Features

This trip to the ancient underworld is a relatively simple one as far as features are concerned. There are a few extras to get stuck into though which deliver some fiery action that can match the scorching setting.

Stacked Wilds feature

The flaming W is the wild. This replaces all the standard symbols in a winning combination. This wild spins in stacked formation 3 symbols high and can fill 1 or multiple reels whenever it appears. Land 5 wilds on a payline and you’ll receive an award of 150 x your total bet.

Bonus Game feature

The gold emblem featuring Cerberus serves a dual role. It acts as a second wild alongside the standard W wild. The emblem is also a scatter. A combination of 5 standard wilds and Cerberus emblem wilds delivers a 150 x payout.

Land 3, 4 of 5 Cerberus emblem symbols anywhere on the reels on the same spin and you’ll pocket an award equal to 2, 20 or 200x your total bet. You’ll also activate the game’s Bonus Game feature.

You’ll then go on to play 10 free spins. Instead of the standard 9 payline machines, the free spins play out on a new 243 ways to wins set up. Winning combinations during the feature are created by landing matching symbols on adjoining reels, beginning from reel 1.

Re-triggers are possible during this round too. Landing 3 or more Cerberus emblems on the same spin awards another scatter payout as well as another round of 10 free spins.

Beat the Beast: Cerberus’ Inferno Theme – head to Hades in this Greek mythology themed slot

Beat the Beast Cerberus' Inferno slot base game

Thunderkick’s design flair is clear to see in Beat the Beast: Cerberus’ Inferno which looks superb. With stone steps and the ambient glow from Hades in the background, the reels are made up of hefty looking A to 10 royals.

They’re joined by symbols that relate to the Greek myth theme including a weapon, a warrior’s facemask, a jug and a golden statue of Cerberus. The most rewarding symbol is the snarling Cerberus, with 3 very angry looking dog heads. Land 2, 3, 4 or 5 of these in combination and you’ll win a payout of 1.5, 10, 30 or 150 x your total bet.

The visuals here are super sharp and packed full of detail. We’re rarely disappointed with the visual aesthetic in Thunderkick slots and Cerberus’ Inferno is very easy on the senses as usual.

The Beat the Beast: Cerberus’ Inferno mobile slot works very well. Visually, it’s superb. The relatively simple gameplay also works rather nicely on the smaller screen devices.

Beat the Beast: Cerberus’ Inferno Thoughts/Opinion – if you enjoy the other Beat the Beast slots, you’ll like this trip to the Underworld

In previous releases in the Beat the Beast series, we’ve entered the Kraken’s Lair and tangled with the Mighty Sphinx. Beat the Beast: Cerberus’ Inferno is another very playable addition to the series. As usual for a Thunderkick slot, the design is first class. They just don’t make ugly looking slots, even if the main theme is the underworld and a rabid three-headed dog.

The gameplay is relatively simple. The stacked wilds and free spins are a solid combination though.  If you like high risk, high reward gameplay, Cerberus’ Inferno should appeal given the game’s rampant volatility.

The other slots in the Beat the Beast series have proved to be hits with slots players. We fully expect Cerberus’ Inferno to do the same. If you liked Beat the Beast: Kraken’s Lair or Beat the Beast: Mighty Sphinx, you’ll likes this ancient Greek addition.
