The Mummy Slot review
The Mummy is a Playtech powered video slot game which is based on the blockbuster movie (and has clips from the film). This slot is surely to be one of the most played slot games of 2012. The Mummy is packed full of features with the Lost City Adventure Bonus being the main one with 6 features within it. The Mummy comes with a cool 10,000 coin jackpot which you can trigger by getting 5 Brendan Fraser symbols and can be played from 25p to £125 a spin.
The main feature is the Lost City Adventure Bonus feature which can be triggered at random in the main game. You will be shown a clip from The Mummy movie sequel and be taken to a chamber in the Lost City. You need to pick ancient crates for cash until Collect is chosen (that will end the feature). The prizes on offer will range from 1x to 4x your total stake. Then it will activate of the special features in the subsequent order:

Furthermore, there are 2 more bonus feature you should look out for. First is the Free Games feature – this is triggered when you get 3 symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5. You will then get 5 free spins plus 1 super spin. During the 5 free spins, the number of Wilds that appear are counted and stored in the Collected Wilds area.
When the free spins are done, the Super Spin begins – the collected Wilds will then be distributed on reels 2, 3 and 4 and remain in place for the super spin. The only negative is that more free spins cannot be retriggered and the Lost City Adventure & Mummy Hunt features cannot be retriggered.
There is also the Mummy Hunt Bonus feature which you can trigger by getting Mummy Hunt Bonus symbols on reels 1 and 5. You will be taken to the depths of the pyramid where you hunt mummies for cash. In each round, you will kill between 2-10 mummies – they represent a cash prize of up to 3x your line bet.
You will face crossroads & decide to go left or right. Choosing the wrong path will lead to a dead end where the mummies will ambush you & end the Bonus round. Alternatively, you can face a mummy that you kill for a cash prize. Your progress is highlighted in a special map at the top right of your screen. The Mummy is packed full of weird and wonderful features that will keep you entertained for hours. I managed to trigger all the features within a few hours playing – the slot game is great in terms of graphics and animations. I found The Mummy to be a low variance game which means it’s not a slot I play often. It’s great for entertainment value but you have better branded/movie-themed slots such as The Incredible Hulk and Jurassic Park which potentially can give you much bigger wins.
