Pink Panther is a great video slot game brought to you by Playtech. The game is a 5 reel game with 40 paylines and based on the comedy series that began way back in 1963. The comedy series follows the silly detective Jacques Clouseau who is the Pink Panther. The game is the online version and has great animations as well as sounds. The Pink Panther symbol is the wild. What’s good about Pink Panther is that it comprises of 5 bonus features – yes 5! All of the bonus games are activated randomly and are different. We will highlight what the bonus games entail:

1. Pink Pow – The Pink Panther will blow up between 2 and 6 symbols on the reels turning them into wild symbols so you are awarded with extra winning combinations.
2. Crack the Pink Code – you will see 10 safes which the Pink Panther opens randomly. The safes will contain either free spins, expanding wild on reel 3 or multipliers. The bonus round prizes end if the safe with the dynamite is opened. You will however be awarded with another prize if the dynamite safe is opened as well as the free spins starting.
3. Color Pink – you will see The Pink Panther and a little man paint numbers on a wall in pink or blue. The total numbers are added up as your prize – only the pink numbers count though. However, you can replay this bonus round up to 3 times.

5. Pink Trail – Inspector Clouseau follows pink footprints to find a stolen diamond. Every footprint will reveal a cash prize. There are 4 rounds (footprints) and you have to choose whether to collect the prize or continue on the trail. This means you could win a lot more but you could also lose half of your winnings if you hit a trap. If you manage to get through the 4 rounds unscathed, you will find the diamond and your winnings will be multiplied by 2.

Finally, Pink Panther has 2 progressive jackpots attached to it. If you manage to trigger it, you will be presented with 12 doors which reveal characters. If you reveal 5 Pink Panthers, you will win the Major Pink Jackpot. If you reveal Inspector Clouseau 4 times, will win you the Minor Pink Jackpot. If you reveal 3 Little Man doors, you will the consolation prize.

Pink Panther is a low variance slot which looks a little dated in my opinion – you will win often in this game but the returns are small in general. I like higher variance games like Gladiator (also by Playtech) or Microgaming’s Thunderstruck II (a must!).
