Ghost Rider is a 5 reel 20 payline slot which is powered by Playtech software. The game see’s the Ghost Rider’s dark soul and body covered in fire as per the comic book – its part of the Marvel slot series (again by Playtech!). Graphically exceptional, you can play from 20p a spin to £100 a spin. It has 2 bonus features which will be described below.

To trigger the Ghost Hunt Bonus feature, you need to activate all 5 reels – you can do this by getting the Ghost Rider Bonus symbol on the middle position of the reel. It will remain active until you trigger all 5. You will then see the Ghost Rider speed along the highway on his motorcycle.

Ghosts will then appear to the left or to the right which you need to shoot down. You have 10 attempts to shoot them down with a successful shot rewarding you with up to 3 times your stake. You will successfully shot a minimum of 7 ghosts with 10 ghosts on offer so you can win up to 30 times your stake (not to bad).

Then you have the Free Games feature where you win will the bigger amounts from – you can trigger this by getting 3 or more Ghost Rider logo scatter symbols anywhere on the reels. You are then awarded 10 free spins with a 3x multiplier.

Whilst this may sound quite standard, the Ghost Rider wild symbol becomes an expanding wild in the free spins feature – you can get up to 3 expanding wild reels per free spin! Furthermore, if you get 3 or more scatters in a free spin, you will earn an extra 10 free spins (all with a 3x multiplier) – the number of free spins you can get is infinite!

Ghost Rider is graphically superb and the big wins will come in the Free Games feature if you get a few expanding wilds. As with all Marvel slots, you can win one of 4 progressive jackpots (this helps). Even though Ghost Rider is a good slot, I prefer playing Thor The Mighty Avenger or The Incredible Hulk.
