Play ‘N Go Big Win Cat Slot Review and Free Play

Big Win Cat: Demo

Play ’N Go is the latest developer to take a virtual trip to Asia, this time in Big Win Cat. It’s a simple 3 reel, 5 payline game that comes with high spec sound and visuals and a multiplier wheel that can send payouts rocketing by up to 10x. Stakes range from between 5p and £100 per spin.

There are no reasons to grumble about the design of Big Win Cat which looks and sounds terrific. The plain reels are set against a backdrop that features a traditional interior of a Chinese home. You’ll see 9 different symbols spinning round the reels. The lower value symbols are coins, bells, money pouches, fans and hammers.

More rewarding are the trio of cartoon animal symbols. The smiling tortoise, pig and goldfish pay 3, 4 or 5 times your total stake if you land 3 of them in a single payline.  Most rewarding of all is the cat which is the wild. It performs all the usual substitution functions and also offers awards of 16 times your stake if you land a 3-in-a-line combo.

Those payouts don’t sound that thrilling. There are chances to boost them substantially though courtesy of the multiplier wheel.

This is activated by filling the screen with the same matching symbols and/or wilds. If you fill 2 reels with matching symbols, wilds or a combination of both then you’ll trigger the Respin of Luck feature where you get a re-spin – this gives you another chance to land the matching symbols.

Once you do trigger the Wheel of Multipliers feature, it will spin to reveal a multiplier award of 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x or 10x. This is then applied to your win from the triggering spin. A top payout of 800 times your total bet is possible here.

Play ’N Go video slots are usually good-looking affairs and that’s certainly the case here. The design is super shiny and works very well. Likewise, the traditional Chinese-style backing track. The range of features isn’t wide. You won’t find free spins, cash trails or even a pick me round here.

We never found Big Win Cat a boring game though – we found the volatility to be pretty high too. Trigger the bonus wheel with 1 of the animal symbols and then land a high value multiplier and Big Win Cat can deliver some serious action. If you like the theme, Microgaming’s Six Acrobats and NextGen Gaming’s Xing Guardian are recommended.
