Play ‘N Go Tower Quest Slot Review and Free Play

Tower Quest: Demo

Orcs, elves, wizards and demons take centre stage in Tower Quest, a feature filled, 5 reel, 20 payline slot from Play N’ Go. This fantasy-themed game comes with plenty of free spin extras including multipliers and added wilds as well as a Dungeons and Dragons style bonus feature that offers payouts of up to 500x. Playable across all devices, start your adventure from 20p per spin.

The reels feature lower value playing cards from A to J alongside a trio of dragons, orcs and ogres. The top payers are the male and female elves. They’re joined by the mighty tower which is the game’s wild – it is a stacked symbol and can fill the entire reels in which it appears.

At the side of the reels you’ll notice a pair of blue and red meters – these are central to triggering the free spin features. Every time a bottle of blue or red potion lands, it will be emptied into the appropriate meter. There are different rewards on offer depending on how many potions bottles you manage to acquire.

Collect 10 red bottles and you can choose 5 free spins with all wild wins boosted by a 3x multiplier. Wait until your total has reached 20 and you can choose 5 free spins, this time with the elfin duo becoming extra wilds. 5 free spins are also on offer with 30 red potions, this time a sticky wild is added to the reels for each spin.

The blue potion offers a slightly different set of rewards. An initial 5 will give you 1 free spin where the middle reel is wild complete with a doubling 2x multiplier.  After you have 10 blue potions, you can get 1 free spin with the hero, heroine, dragon, skeleton and orc all wild. Wait until you have 15 blue potions and you can try you luck with a single spin with reels 1, 3 and 5 all totally wild. As long as you have enough potion in the meter you can choose whichever feature you like.

Tower Quest also comes with a Dungeons and Dragons style card game bonus – this is triggered when you land 3 wizard bonus symbols. Roll the dice to determine which cards you’ll be facing the evil wizard with. Like a game of Top Trumps, the higher score wins the hand and with it a cash prize. Land the same number on all 3 dice and the points on offer on your card will be doubled. The overall goal is to totally sap the strength of the evil wizard. Prizes of up to 500 times your stake are on offer here.

There’s much to commend in Tower Quest – it looks excellent and has a suitably sweeping backing track to complement your spins. The features aren’t bad either. Some of the single spin bonuses can be heart in mouth affairs but can certainly deliver if the wild reels fall nicely. The bonus card game is a nice variation too. If you’re a fan of sword and sorcery movies, then Tower Quest is a slot you’ll want to play. I also recommend you take a look at IGT’s Dragons & Dungeons Fortress of Fortunes which has a similar theme.
