In terms of Cloud Quest, you can get wins by connecting 3 or more matching symbols on a vertical, horizontal or diagonal line within the 5×5 grid. When you get a winning combination, the contributing symbols disappear which allows new symbols to fall into place and give you another chance of winning.
This continues as long as you keep winning. If you clear all 25 symbols in the grid, you will be honoured with a big cash prize. Look out for the wild symbol (the emblem or endurance) which replaces the middle symbol in every winning combination to further improve your winning potential.
There is also a Power Stone symbol which fills the power meter (to the right of the grid) and gives you the chance to trigger Super Powers. 3 Power Stones fills 1 section of the power meter whilst 4 fills 2 sections. If you get 5, it will fill 3 sections of the power meter. The power meter consists of 10 sections which, when filled completely, will give you a free re-spin with a random power.
You have the Five of Fortune where all wins in the free re-spin are subject to a 5x multiplier. The Emblem of Endurance sees 3 enduring wilds fall in on 3 positions on the grid (which remain unless you get a combination full of wild symbols).
The Mark of Multitude gives you extra wild symbols – with a 4 symbol combination, the 2 middle symbols become wild whilst you will benefit 3 wilds for a 5 symbol combination. The Scatter of Success sees all symbols paying as scatters which in turn added Super Power symbols.
1 row is chosen at the Bonus row before each spin – if all 5 symbols in that row disappear (due to a winning combination, you will activate the Free Spins feature and receive between 5 and 20 free spins. You are taken to a 3 reel, 1 payline machine.
The aim in the feature is to defeat the 5 monsters you face – each monster you defeat will give you an additional 3 free spins. If you defeat the final boss, you will also be rewarded with a 100 times stake cash prize. If you have remaining free spins, these will be paid out as 2 times your stake.
There’s plenty going on in Cloud Quest but its impressive when it comes to gameplay, bonus features and graphics.
