As usual for a Novomatic title, the design here is pretty basic. It’s not as stripped back as some of the developer’s earlier efforts but isn’t overly flashy. The reels are made up of lower value playing cards which spin alongside a selection of medieval themed objects and characters.
You’ll see gem-encrusted goblets, a castle, a prince in golden armour (who rather unfortunately looks little like Jeremy Beadle) and an elfin princess. This is pretty typical medieval fare from Novomatic. Their video slots aren’t likely to win any awards for their looks and sound and that’s certainly true of King’s Treasure which is functional rather than beautiful. Like many of the developer’s games, the main attraction here is the volatility which is extremely high. You can expect some lengthy lean spells but the coins can quickly build, especially in the free spins round.
