Novomatic’s Haul of Hades: Super Spinner Video Slot Review

Novomatic transports players to the underworld in Haul of Hades: Super Spinner. It’s a 5 reel, 10 payline horror-themed video slot that comes with surprisingly good design. Features include colossal character symbols and super spins that play out over 4 different reel sets with copying stacked wilds. Stakes range from between 10p and £50 per spin.

The sound and visuals in Haul of Hades: Super Spinner are very well done. Novomatic has really upped their game in recent times and that’s obvious in this well-designed game. Joining the lower value playing card symbols are the ancient deities Athena, Aphrodite, Zeus and Hades. They’re almost like paintings and rather impressive. The best payer awards 10, 50 or 250 times your bet if you land 3, 4 or 5 on a payline. Haul of Hades: Super Spinner comes with 2 extras.

Giant Stacked Symbols feature – hope to see a full stack of one of the character symbols form part of a winning combination. This then expands further to create a giant character symbol.

Super Spinner Bonus feature – this round becomes active every time you land a winner equal to 4 or more times your total bet. Instead of a single set of reels, the action here moves to 4 different machines that all spin independently of each other. It will cost you 4 times your total bet.

The Super Spins keep on coming as long as you land a winner on any of the 4 sets of reels. Hope to see a stacked wild land on the middle reel of any of the machines. The stacked wild then copies onto the same position on the other 3 machines. Up to 50 Super Spinner games can be triggered in any one set.

This horror-themed video slot is rather unusual. The gameplay is simple. The Super Spinner round landed regularly though and delivered a steady stream of smaller wins. This isn’t a volatile game. The variance is low to medium. Saying that, a screen full of Hades symbols will give you 2,500 times your bet.

There’s nothing very complex about Haul of Hades: Super Spinner. It looks and sounds impressive though and the features offer something a little different. If you enjoy the ghoulish theme, then it’s a slot to consider. Novomatic has produced better video slots with Eye of the Dragon my favourite.
