Net Entertainment’s Victorious Video Slot Review

Victorious: Demo

Victorious Video Slot review

Victorious is a 5 reel 243 ways to win video slot created by Net Entertainment. This game creates an “air of victory” according to NetEnt due to the fact it’s a medium to high variance slot game – i.e. big wins but not very often. You can play for as little as 25p a spin to as much £125 a spin. It’s all about the Free Spins feature where a 3x multiplier comes into play.

Theme wise, you go back in time to join ancient Romans where the Emperor, 1 of his centurions and his troops has emerged victorious in their latest battle. Released quite a few years ago, the graphics and animations aren’t as good as more recent releases – in some ways, that adds to the ancient Roman theme and appeal.

Symbols on the reels include A, K, Q, J, 10 and 9 card suits as well as troops, a centurion, a general and the Emperor himself – the latter is the most rewarding symbol giving you 4, 20 or 60 times your bet. The eagle is the wild symbol and replaces all symbols bar the wreath scatter – it appears on reels 2 and 4 only.
When it comes to features, there’s only 1 – the Free Spins feature. This is activated when you get 3 or more golden wreath scatter symbols anywhere on the reels. 3, 4 or 5 scatters will give you 15, 20 or 25 free spins as well as a cash prize of 5, 20 or 50 times your bet.

Once entering the feature, the battle-cries and the war-drums begin to play – it does inspire you to hopefully defeat the enemy. Furthermore, all wins from the free spins are subject to a 3x multiplier. Lastly, 3, 4 or 5 scatters will retrigger the feature to give you 15, 20 or 25 more free spins with up to 50 possible.

Victorious is a firm favourite and has stood the test of time – it can also provide you with wins of 768 times your bet on each free spin (with the 3x multiplier of course). If you like the ancient Roman theme, there’s plenty of video slots to choose from like Play ‘N Go’s Game of Gladiators and Playtech’s Gladiator: Road to Rome (yes, it’s the official game for the iconic film).
