Net Entertainment Zombies Slot Review and Free Play

Zombies: Demo

Zombies Video Slot review

Zombies is a 5 reel 20 payline video slot created by Net Entertainment. It’s based on zombies (obviously!) as the dead return to life – it’s weirdly set in an empty shopping centre. You can play from 1p to £10 a payline making it as little as 20p per spin to £200 per spin. The game has a Random Wild feature, Free Spins feature and a Stacked Wild feature.

Firstly on to the Random Wild feature – this is described as NetEnt as the focal point of the game. When it’s triggered, you will see 2 zombies’ heads appear on the reels and then shot up to 6 times. A new wild symbol will appear after each gunshot – that’s up to 6 wilds. It can prove quite beneficial but I haven’t had much luck with it just yet.

Then there’s the Stacked Wild feature which only appears on the middle reel (reel 3). The Stacked Wild can appear as a single symbol, as a Stacked Wild of 2 or as a Stacked Wild of 3. This feature can dramatically increase your chances of getting that big win.

Finally, there’s the Free Spins feature which is activated by getting 3 scatter symbols anywhere on reels 2, 3 and 4 – you are then awarded 5 free spins. The bonus round will start with zombies being shot and covered with toxic fog – this will win you coins. The total amount is displayed in the Zombie Score meter.

There is also an increasing multiplier during the free spins. So for the first spin, you have a 1x multiplier. For the second, a 2x multiplier. For the third, a 3x multiplier, for the fourth, a 5x free spin and finally, for the final free spin, you will get a massive 10x multiplier.

This feature can prove very rewarding as there is a maximum of 100,000 coins you win on a single bet line! The return to player % is a whopping 97.2% too. Zombies isn’t my favourite NetEnt slot but it’s not bad either. It’s a low to medium variance game with little yet frequent wins. You can get huge wins if you get a high paying combination with the big 10x multiplier in the feature but that’s quite unlikely. You can’t really go wrong with Piggy Riches or Dead or Alive in my opinion.
