Net Entertainment’s Go Bananas Video Slot Review

Go Bananas: Demo

Go Bananas! is a Net Entertainment-powered video slot featuring 5 reels and 20 paylines. You can spin away from as little as 20p to as much as £200 a spin so it suits all pockets. The game is frantic and fast and features 5 Wild Monkey symbols. As you’d expect, the graphics, animations and sounds are brilliant as the game takes places in a tree house in a tropical jungle setting.

The monkeys are playful and mischievious as they dance and go crazy on the reels. Look out for a winning combination with a monkey symbol and they really come to life. Each monkey has its own character and will perform different antics on the reels.

As I’ve written above, you have 5 various Wild Monkey symbols – you have the Wild Orangutan, Wild Langur, Wild Baboon, Wild Tarsier and Wild Gorilla. When any of the monkeys appear, they will transform symbols next to them into additional wild symbols. This can dramatically boost your winning potential as there’s more wilds on the reels.

As mentioned, they are 5 different Wild Monkey symbols – these are the Wild Gorilla, Wild Orangutan, Wild Baboon, Wild Langur and Wild Tarsier. When any of them appear on the reels, they will turn adjacent symbols into wilds to give you bigger chances of winnings. The Wild Gorilla can give you an extra 4 wilds! I would look out or the Wild Baboon as a few of them can really send your winnings bananas!

The only downside to Go Bananas is the lack of free spins action – however, it’s quite a generous video slot with a winning spin every 3 spins more or less. The maximum you can win off 1 spin is 700 times your stake which is decent. I quite like Go Bananas due to multiple wilds being available quite frequently. More often than not, you’ll get small-sized wins but you do get some big ones occasionally.

If you like the monkey theme, Gorilla Go Wilder by NextGen Gaming is highly recommended as you can swing your way to wins of 37,500 times your bet on each free spin in the Multiplier Zone Bonus feature (with the 25x multiplier). Another option is NetEnt’s Planet of the Apes which is superb in so many ways.
