It was launched in May 2010 and the sequel to the original and popular Thunderstruck slot game. This is one of the best slot games around and in my top 5 of all time. You can play for 30 coins to 300 coins meaning that the minimum spin is 30p whilst the maximum spin is £15.00. Thunderstruck 2 is based on Norse mythology which features the Valkyrie, Loki, Odin and Thor Gods.

There is a disappointing 1,000 coins jackpot which you can trigger by getting 5 Thunderstruck II logo symbols. This symbol is the wild and this substitutes for all symbols except the bonus symbol (Thor’s Hammer) to double a win. However, it won’t double wins during the Wildstorm feature – this feature is triggered at random where you will be rewarded with 1 free spin with up to 5 reels becoming wild. The main attraction is the multi-level Great Hall of Spins feature which you can trigger by getting 3 or more Bonus Hammer symbols across the reels. There are 4 levels to this feature which are characterised by Valkyrie, Loki, Odin and Thor. Access to each level requires you to trigger the feature a certain amount of times. Don’t worry, Thunderstruck 2 has a memory so you can keep coming back to it. Here are the details of each level:

• Valkyrie Level – 1st to 4th triggers: you will be rewarded with 10 free spins with a 5x multiplier. You can also trigger more free spins.
• Loki Level – 5th to 9th triggers: you will be awarded 15 free spins with the Wild Magic feature. If you get Wild Magic symbols on reel 3, the symbols will be transformed into additional wilds.
• Odin Level – 10th to 14th triggers: you will get 20 free spins with the Wild Raven feature. Get Odin’s Ravens will turn symbols into 2x or 3x multiplier. Get 2 of them to get a 6x multiplier.
• Thor Level – 15th+ triggers: you will get 25 free spins with Rolling Reels. Consecutive wins will increase the multiplier from 2x to 5x.

The progress bar at the bottom will tell you how many times you’ve triggered the feature but once you’ve done it 15 times or more, you can choose with character you want. I personally like the Odin level as the thrill of getting 20 free spins with a 6x multiplier is great. I’ve only managed to get 8 free spins with a 6x multiplier which I did pretty well from (over 300 times my stake)

Thunderstruck II is a high variance slot game meaning that its high risk – this means that you can easily lose your bankroll as wins are few and far between.
