Microgaming Lucky Witch Slot Review and Free Play

Lucky Witch: Demo

Lucky Witch Video Slot review

Lucky Witch is a 5 reel 15 payline video slot that is powered by Microgaming. It has a Halloween theme and features potions, cauldrons (bubbling and broiling), pumpkins, black cats, spell books, gargoyles and the lucky witch of course. Your aim is to uncover the secret spells of the Lucky Witch and it is playable from just 15p to as much as £60 a spin.

Look out for the Lucky Witch symbol as it acts like a wild and substitutes symbols to help you create a winning payline. Then you have the Potion Bottle symbol which is used to trigger the Free Spins Bonus feature when you get 3 or more – you will be awarded with a creepy 13 free spins.

The good thing is that you can retrigger the feature if you do get 3 Potion Bottles during the feature. On top of this, there is an additional Red Hair Witch wild in the feature. Finally, all 13 free spins are subject to a 2x multiplier which means all wins are doubled.

The other feature is the Mystery Bonus feature which can be played when you get the Cauldron symbol on reels 1, 3 and 5 simultaneously. This will give you access to 4 further features. There is the Pumpkin Bonus feature where you choose from 3 pumpkins to win a cash prize. You can change your mind twice to gamble for a bigger cash prize!

Then there is the Magic Potion Bonus feature where you pick from 12 potion bottles to win cash prizes. Hopefully, you will find ‘Win All’ to win all cash prizes. However, if you find the skull, the feature will end. There is the Secret Vault Bonus feature where you pick 3 from 12 symbols – then choose 1 final one to get a cash prize.

Lastly, you have the Spell Book Bonus feature where you choose 1 of 3 books to get a multiplier. Hopefully you will unveil the magic imp which will cast a spell and increase the multiplier up to 52x (52 times your stake!). Obviously, this feature has the potential for the biggest wins (compared to the other features).

Lucky Witch has been around for some time now so the graphics and animations are a tad dated – it’s a medium variance slot in my opinion with the bigger wins should come in the Free Spins Bonus feature. I’ve had wins just over 150 times my stake in the feature though but I haven’t played it that much. If you like creepy-themed slots, you can’t go wrong with Immortal Romance (also by Microgaming), Bitten by IGT and Blood Suckers by NetEnt.
