Battlestar Galactica: Demo

Battlestar Galactica Video Slot review

The Battlestar Galactica slot has 243 ways to win and is a Microgaming game. Based on the popular science fiction television series produced by NBC Universal, it can be played from 30p to £15 a spin. It has 3 various modes including 2 free spins features.

The first mode (and the default) is the Normal mode. You will notice that wild symbols are stacked on the first reel and in the Free Spin feature – this can add to your winnings. There’s a Ion Storm feature where, at random, up to 5 reels can become fully wild. This feature has proved very fruitful for me personally. If you get 3 or more Battlestar Galactica scatters in the Normal mode, you will activate the free spins feature – here you are rewarded with 15 free spins with all wins trebled.

Then there’s the Run mode where wins pay both ways (left to right and right to left). The key to this mode is the FTL symbol on the centre reel which changes Royal symbols to mystery symbols. This can significantly help your winnings. This happens randomly too.

Lastly, there is the Fight mode where a number of symbols will randomly be turned into wilds for more winning potential. You will also notice that wild symbols split into double wilds adding to your winnings. 3 or more Battlestar scatters give you 5 free spins with the chance to earn additional free spins.

Maybe it’s not as important but there’s a Ranking Achievements feature where you get a higher rank the more you play. As you climb the ranks, you will see more Battlestar Galactica television series footage to enhance your playing experience.

This slot is superb in my opinion and the randomly triggered features can really give you a good payout – I especially like the Ion Storm feature where you can get up to 5 wild reels. It reminds me a little or Immortal Romance or Thunderstruck II which is a good thing. Graphically it’s great too which really helps. If you like branded slots with a similar theme, you should try WMS Gaming’s Star Trek Red Alert which is brilliant.
