It’s time to ‘Come On Down’ and take your place on Contestants’ Row in The Price is Right. Created by IGT and based on the long-running TV gameshow, it’s a 5 reel, 25 payline video slot that comes with plenty of extras. Look out for pick me prizes, a Plinko feature and free spins with multipliers of up to 25x. Stakes range from between 25p and £500 per spin.

Flashy Design

As you might expect from a video slot based on a TV gameshow, there’s a glossy look to the design here. You’ll see flashing lights and plenty of colour. Joining the A to 10 royals are a selection of prizes you might expect to see on the show including a bike and a jet ski. The car is the best standard symbol. It pays 2, 10 or 20 times your bet if you land 3, 4 or 5 on a payline. There’s also a wild that pays 4, 20 or 40 times your bet as well as replacing everything bar the Bonus.

Features Galore

IGT has packed a good selection of extras into The Price is Right. To trigger them, you’ll need to land 3 Bonus symbols on the same spin. After a payout of double your total bet, you’ll spin The Big Wheel Bonus feature. Depending on where the pointer lands, you’ll win a prize equal to between 25 or 1,000 times your bet or you’ll activate 1 of the following features.

Punch a Bunch

This is a ‘take it or leave it’ style pick me round called the Punch a Bunch feature. Choose a space on the board. It will then reveal a multiplier of between 2 or 20 times your bet. You can choose to accept or pick again. The round ends when you accept or have made 4 selections.

Plinko

The Plinko feature is a virtual version of the game where you drop a coin down a maze of nails and try and land in a segment at the bottom where prizes are awarded. You’ll get 3 chips to drop. Each one comes with a multiplier of between 1x and 5x attached which is applied to the prize won on that drop.

Free Spins with Multipliers up to 25x

The Cliff Hangers feature is based on the famous game where a yodelling Alpine climber ascends a mountain to deliver bigger and bigger prizes. You’ll start here with 1 free spin at 1x. As the Yodeller climbs, you’ll get more free spins and the multipliers increase. You’ll keep on spinning until the Yodeller reaches the summit where you’ll get 1 free spin with a massive 25x multiplier.

Better than expected

We didn’t have particularly high hopes when we fired up The Price is Right video slot. We were pleasantly surprised though. Yes, it’s all very glossy and American. Subtle it certainly ain’t. The features here are rather good though and can deliver some very decent action.

The variance is in the medium range with top wins of 1,000 times your bet on every spin or free spin – add in the 25x multiplier and you could win 25,000 times your bet on your last free spin!
