Lock and Respin Bonus feature
The main feature is activated by landing 3 scatters on the same spin, either naturally or via the No Way, Yes Way! Feature. You enter the telephone box and head off to play a set of respins on a new set of reels made up of phone booths and blanks.
The phone booths can reveal a cash award of between 1 and 100 x your total bet or an historical character that appeared in the movie. One of the characters is picked at random to be the upgrade symbol.
You’ll receive 3 respins to start with. These reset each time you land a phone booth. The more locked symbols and historical characters you collect, the bigger the potential prizes.

The design in the Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure slot is well, excellent. Based on the cult favourite 1989 film, there’s a slightly comic book feel to the design which is true to the source material. In the background you’ll hear ‘Play With Me’ by US rockers Extreme blasting away while you spin.
It’s loud and brash and just what you’d expect from a slot based on such a silly film. On the reels you’ll see lower value playing card suit symbols as well as a cast of characters from the movie including a very young Keanu Reeves. The California slackers’ time-travelling adventures have gained a cult following since the movie was released over 30 years ago. The Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure slot adaptation should appeal to those fans. The anarchic spirit of the movie is clear to see in this version. It’s well designed and comes with a decent raft of extras that are based on the film.
It’s not too volatile either which makes it a decent pick for casual players. The key to winning big is from the Lock and Spins Bonus feature where total prizes can reach 2,500 times your total bet. Overall, IGT has done a solid job with Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure.
