NetEnt to launch Gonzo’s Quest in virtual reality

Net Entertainment has announced that it will be developing and launching their first real-money virtual reality video slot.

The announcement was made at the ICE Totally Gaming conference which was held at the ExCeL in London last week. NetEnt are tapping into the rapidly growing Virtual Reality (VR) market and are planning to release Gonzo’s Quest, their 1st platinum video slot, soon.

Gonzo’s Quest VR will be available at the end of 2017 or the beginning of 2018 and it will be a major step in the online casino industry. Speaking of the announcement, NetEnt’s CEO (Per Eriksson) commented:

“We firmly believe that VR has a given place in the future of online gaming, based on our research and the trends that we monitor. We remain focused on delivering the ultimate entertainment experience by taking this first step towards developing our first real-money VR slot. This is a milestone for NetEnt and the gaming industry.”
