Manchester City Announce Mansion as new Betting PartnerManchester City Football Club have announced that online gambling company Mansion will be their new International Betting Partner for the following 2 seasons.

According to MCFC.co.uk, the agreement between Mansion and Manchester City will see them both “collaborate across a wide range of commercial activities, including the extension and expansion of the Manchester City brand into key territories across Asia and other special commercial projects of mutual interest and benefit to both parties”.

I’m not sure what they means exactly but the Mansion brand was present on the perimeter boards at Manchester City’s first home game against Swansea this Monday just gone. Guy Gussarsky, who is CEO of the Mansion Group, released the following statement:

“Our love of the English Premier League means that we are very excited to be partnering with Manchester City as their International Betting Partner for the next two seasons.

With football a global game, we are looking forward to working together with the Club and helping both City and EPL fans worldwide to better enjoy their experience, using a number of new and exciting initiatives, and in keeping with the market-leading values that are at the heart of both of our organisations.”

Chief Brand and Commercial Officer for Manchester City, Ian Cafferky, said of the partnership:

Mansion Group is one of the fastest growing and innovative companies within the gaming industry.  Having them on board as our new partner is an exciting prospect and marks a new commercial chapter for the Club”.

He also said that “Manchester City has huge ambitions and an ever growing international fan base, which makes Asia a key market for the Club.  Renowned for its love of football, Asia has enormous potential for the future and we are delighted to increase our brand presence in the region”.

There have been a lot of gambling companies involved in football lately with Betfair cancelling their sponsorship agreement with Barcelona recently – they still are the betting partner for Manchester United though.

Genting Casinos became the Aston Villa shirt sponsor earlier this summer whilst 32Red continued their shirt sponsorship deal with newly promoted Swansea City.
