Swedish company NYX Interactive have announced the acquisition of NextGen Gaming who are leading independent provider of slot games to both the online and offline world.
As a result, the businesses will combine to power a content-rich software provider. This will see NextGen’s games be merged into the NYX bingo, lottery and casino modules they offer. In total, there will be more than 300 games on offer to more than 40 customers. Senior executive teams of both companies will combine with games development remaining in Sydney with software development and operations in Stockholm – no one will lose their jobs.
Speaking on the acquisition, CEO of NextGen (Matt Davey) said:
