Star Trek: The Trouble with Tribbles is a 5 reel 25 payline video slot game brought to you from WMS exclusively via Jackpot Party. This game was released on the 7th of April 2011 and is the 3rd episode of the Star Trek slot games (following Star Trek: Red Alert and Star Trek: Explore New Worlds). The game is based on a particular Star Trek episode.
Moving on to the game itself, the reels don’t spin. The symbols are beamed down which is cool and unique. When you get 3 or more ‘Feature’ symbols, you will activate the Tribble Pinball Feature. In this bonus round, tribbles are shot into a playfield whereby they bounce around and fall into 1 of the tubes at the bottom. Each tube has different prizes such as monetary awards, ‘collect’ or the Door Feature.
When a tube is filled, no more tribbles can enter it. You also have a 2x cup in the playfield which means all values are doubled for that tribble. If a tribble lands in the Extra Tribbles cup, it will stay there until the ‘collect’ tube is filled. Once that happens, 2 or 3 more tribbles will be released meaning more prizes.
If you trigger the Door Feature, you will be presented with 3 picks. If Tribbles are revealed, a monetary value of 1x – 25x the total line bet can be awarded. You can also reveal crew members and monetary values as well as extra picks.
Back to the bonus round, the feature will continue until the ‘Continue’ tube is filled or all scoring tubes are full. If you unfortunate enough to get your first 3 tribbles in the Collect tube, you won’t be disappointed as it multiply your line bet by 30, 40 or 60 times. Finally, you are awarded medals if a tribble lands in the 2x cup, Extra Tribbles Cup or if you reveal a crew member in the Door Feature.

Enterprise Fly-By – the Enterprise will fly across the screen and the symbols that formed the winning combination will be changed into 1 symbol to give you a bigger win.

Rock Creature Multiplying Wild – Rock creature appears and leaves a multiplier randomly. The multiplier ranges from 3x to 10x.

Scotty’s Wild Reel – Scotty will fill either 1 or 2 reels with wild symbols to enhance your win.

Spock Multiplier – Spock will multiply your win from 3x to 10x. We managed to get a 10x multiplier from a 50p line bet – see our screenshot below displaying a 10x multiplier:
