WMS Kingdom of the Titans Video Slot Review

Kingdom of the Titans: Demo

Take a trip back in time to the land of the ancients in Kingdom of the Titans, a Greek myth and legend themed video slot powered by WMS Gaming. Played using a 5 reel, 30 payline game engine, it comes with Spinning Streak re-spins as well as a bonus feature that awards up to 100 free spins with a multiplier of between 2 and 10x. Play from between 30p and £150 per spin.

Like many WMS titles, Kingdom of the Titans started life as a brick and mortar casino slot – the online version appeared in 2011 and it’s starting to look its age as far as visuals are concerned. Symbols include laurel wreaths, lyres, pots, coins, armour, helmets and sword and shields.
The higher value symbols are a god and goddess, both of which pay 500 coins if you land 5 on a payline. The Kingdom of the Titans logo appears on the odd numbered reels only and replaces all other symbols bar the feature scatter.

Kingdom of the Titans is played with a Spinning Streak feature – following a winning spin, the successful symbols are locked in place and a re-spin follows. These continue as long as a new symbol is added to the original configuration. A payout is made following the final re-spin.
The feature scatter symbol triggers the Free Spins feature – you’ll need to land a minimum of 5 to get to the bonus feature:

  • 5-7 feature symbols award 8 free spins
  • 8-9 feature symbols award 10 free spins
  • 10 feature symbols award 25 free spins
  • 11-15 feature symbols award 50 free spins

Those triggering numbers sound quite large but remember the Spinning Streak feature which holds symbols in place will help you on your way. The Spinning Streak feature is in play during the bonus feature too. After each streak, your payout will be boosted by a random multiplier that can anything from between 2x and 10x. You can trigger more free spins too with up to 100 available in total.

The variance here is in the medium range. Plenty of action is on offer but there’s still the prospect of securing a big win.  Kingdom of the Titans may not be the best looking video slot you’ll see – the blocky graphics look a little like mosaics though which gives it a certain visual charm and match the ancient theme.

The main attraction is the free spins feature – get a high value symbol with the Spinning Streak and combine with multiplier and Kingdom of the Titans can deliver potentially Titanic amounts of coins. If you like the theme, Playtech offer you the Age of the Gods series which are quite similar.
