Lancelot Video Slot review
Lancelot is a 40 payline video slot created by the impressive WMS Gaming. The game is based on an ancient realm full of magic, heroes and riches where you can discover the hidden jewels of this mysterious realm. You can play from 40p to £200 a spin with all 40 paylines enabled. It comes with a top payout per spin of £5,000.
The Lancelot feature is the main feature and is triggered with just 2 symbols on consecutive reels. You need to get 2 or more consecutive Lancelot Wild or Guinevere Wild stacked symbols starting on the 1st reel to activate the feature. The number of free spins you receive depends on how many stacked wilds you obtain.
2 Lancelot/Guinevere stacked wilds will give you 5 free spins whilst 3 Lancelot/Guinevere stacked wilds will give you 10 free spins. 4 Lancelot/Guinevere stacked wilds rewards you with 20 free spins and 5 Lancelot/Guinevere stacked wilds gives you a whopping 50 free spins.
The good thing is that all free spins are subject to a 2x multiplier so you could potentially get 50 free spins with all wins doubled. I’ve managed to get 20 free spins before with 4 stacked wilds on the reels. During the feature, 2 or more stacked Lancelot or Guinevere wilds starting on the leftmost reel will reward you with additional free spins.
I have played the Lancelot slot game a little bit and, as with most WMS slots, all the action is in the free spins feature. The stacked wilds during the free spins game can really help you increase your winnings. Saying that, I’ve rarely won anything substantial (i.e. over 20x stake) from 5 or 10 free spins.
Lancelot is a good slot game but I prefer Rome & Egypt as it uses the same game engine (5×4), has a better theme in my opinion and is slightly higher variance. In terms of other WMS slots, you can’t go wrong with the classic Zeus which is one of the most played slots of all time.
