Thunderkick The Falcon Huntress Slot Review and Free Play

The Falcon Huntress: Demo

Head to the barren wastelands of the Gobi Desert in The Falcon Huntress, a 5 reel, 9 payline video slot from Thunderkick. Boasting highly unusual design, this historical adventure comes with expanding symbols that can fill multiple reels and a free spins bonus round. With wins of over 10,000 times your bet on each spin, play on all devices from between 10p and £100 per spin.

We always enjoy seeing something fresh from a video slot and that’s certainly the case with The Falcon Huntress, especially where design is concerned. The reels are set within a tent in a desert encampment. The symbols appear in the form of tapestries and are very ornately done.

Joining the A to 10 playing cards are woven feathers, eggs and red and yellow motifs. Comfortably the most rewarding symbol is the Falcon Huntress who offers awards of 500 times your total stake if you’re lucky enough to land a 5-of-a-kind winner.

Rounding out the symbols is the falcon which acts as both the wild and the scatter – layouts of 2, 20 or 200 times your stake are on offer if you land 3, 4 or 5 of these. There are 2 features on offer in The Falcon Huntress.

Expanding Wins feature – hitting more regularly of the 2 which is triggered at random following any successful spin. The winning symbol or symbols will expand and fill the whole of the reel or reels. A new payout is then made with these full stacks of matching symbols. The only symbol that cannot expand is the wild falcon.

Bonus Game feature – land 3 or more of the falcon wild and you’ll trigger the free spins round. It’s a pretty straightforward offering where you’ll receive 10 bonus games. Re-triggers are possible here too, awarding a further 10 free games. The Expanding Wins feature also applies to boost your winning potential.

The theme and tapestry style design is something we haven’t come across before and it works very well. Thunderkick is well known for its classy imagery and the visuals here are superbly done, backed by a brooding score. The features aren’t quite as fresh as the design but the expanding symbols and free spins are a decent selection. We found the variance to be sky high with maximum wins of 10,052 times your total bet on each spin/free spin!

It’s not often that we see a fresh theme so all credit to Thunderkick for creating something new here. Visually arresting and offering some solid gameplay, The Falcon Huntress is certainly worth investigating. Thunderkick has plenty of innovative titles with Babushkas and Flame Busters worth trying.
