Medusa II Video Slot review
Medusa II is a NextGen Gaming-powered video slot with 5 reels and 243 paylines (243 ways to win). It’s a sequel to the already popular Medusa slot but has sharper graphics, better animations and more exciting bonus features. What I like about Medusa II is that it has retained some of the original charm from the first game – it’s not as modern as the new slots released but I quite like that. Anyway, between 2 and 5 adjacent reels can lock together in the base game and spin together to give you huge wins.
I quite like the Turned to Stone Stacked Wilds feature – a soldier appears and attacks Medusa. The soldier can be turned into stone by Medusa’s gaze which will give you stacked wilds. My favourite is the Medusa’s Locked Reels Free Games feature which you can activate by obtaining 3 or more Medusa II symbols anywhere across the reels.
You are rewarded with 10 free spins but these aren’t no normal free spins as between 2 and 5 adjacent reels will lock and spin together showing the same symbol. It doesn’t take a genius to point out that 3 or more locked reels can lead to colossal wins. Medusa II is a good slot but something still attracts me to the original one. I love the 4 Super Spins you are given which multiplies wins up to 5x!
