The 50,000 Pyramid: Demo

The 50,000 Pyramid Video Slot Review

The 50,000 Pyramid is a 5 reel 15 paylines video slot that is powered by IGT/WagerWorks. The game was launched back in September 2006 and the graphics/animations are simple yet effective. The game is based on the American television game show which debuted in 1973. The game is based on the pyramid-shaped game board. In the slot version, the maximum number of coins that you can win which is 50,000. You can play from just 15p a spin to as much as £75 a spin.

The wild symbol is the 50,000 Pyramid symbol and substitutes all other symbols except the Winner Circle symbol. The Winner Circle symbols it the scatter and when you get 3 or more of these, you will activate the Winner’s Circle Bonus which is described below.

The Winner’s Circle Bonus feature is the main feature of The 50,000 Pyramid game – you are presented with a pyramid of squares which you need to work through. Each square gives you a certain amount of free spins, a multiplier, a combination of free spins and multiplier, and a free spins with advance feature (to move onto the next row).

If you successfully advance to the top of pyramid you can get up to 36 free spins with a 9x multiplier. I found The 50,000 Pyramid to be a low variance game with plenty of smaller-sized wins. It’s not a slot game I play often anymore as there are many more games which have better bonus features and look better.

The sequel, The 100,000 Pyramid is higher variance (medium) and better graphically but I prefer to play more popular IGT slots such as Cleopatra II or the brilliant and classic Pharaoh’s Fortune. Their bonus features are more rewarding, they are medium to high variance games, and have stood the test of time due to their superb gameplay.
